Senior Health Officials & Barkat GD Visit Sobhan Oncology

According to the Barkat Health & Pharmaceutical Group, during an official visit to Gilan Province, the Deputy Minister of Health and the President of the Food and Drug Administration, accompanied by General Director of Barkat Health and Pharmaceutical Group,  visited Sobhan Oncology Plant.

The purpose of this visit was to evaluate the company’s manufacturing, developmental, and technological capacities, as well as to gain a close understanding of the production process of advanced oncology medicines.

In this regard, the Deputy Minister of Health noted: “This facility is the largest and most advanced cancer drug manufacturing center in West Asia, successfully producing pharmaceuticals that were previously available only to a select few countries.”

Mehdi Pirsalehi also stated that by relying on indigenous expertise and domestic specialists, the plant has prevented more than USD 8 million in foreign currency outflow this year.
